Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although fixed up nicely, were outdated in some areas, but overall clean and comfortable. The service, which came with an additional fee, was exceptional and went above-and-beyond in hospitality. The location, while fantastic for exploring the Bay Area, had some safety concerns under the unlit and unguarded underpass. The dining experience was a bit overpriced for the limited options offered. Overall, the value for money was decent with some improvements needed in certain areas.
The hotel had a cool atrium view for people-watching, but the rooms were small compared to others. They were modern with ample space for belongings, but some windows couldn't be opened. The service was top-notch, providing great experience for my family, although I wish they had informed me about the $100 deposit. The location wasn't ideal due to early morning noises and being in a business area, yet it was convenient for BART and walkable to a nearby restaurant. The dining had a great variety of foods, including local products, with something to please everyone.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, although they were a bit small and the layout was not the best with the bar in the center opening towards the dining room. The service was exceptional, with friendly and courteous staff, although there was one incident where a staff member seemed indifferent when I needed help with my luggage. The location was convenient, especially being near the highway and having access to a hotel shuttle within 3 miles, but the noise from the morning commute was a bit disruptive. The dining options were mediocre and a bit overpriced compared to other choices in downtown Walnut Creek. However, the organic food offered was a nice touch.
